Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is the largest no-kill sanctuary in the US.  There are nearly 3000 dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, sheep, pigs and horses [not to mention all the wildlife- including wild turkeys!]  If you don't know the story, I encourage you to check it out at

We stayed in the cottage on the right.  This is our 3rd trip to Best Friends and the second time we have stayed on site.  It is definitely the way to really take in the entire experience.  There's something truly magical about this canyon...
